The Yakima StepUp Swing Hitch Bike Rack is designed to carry two bikes and fits a 2″ hitch receiver. It features a swing-away design that allows easy access to the rear of the vehicle with or without bikes loaded. The rack supports various bike types, including mountain, road, hybrid, BMX, youth, fat-tire, and E-bikes, each up to 65 lbs (29.5 kg).

This heavy-duty rack includes StadiumSeating, which spaces bikes at different heights to reduce contact and increase ground clearance. The StrongArm hook secures each bike at the front tire, while a flip-away rear wheel strap makes loading and unloading quick. The rack also tilts in three positions to provide trunk access with bikes loaded and folds flat when unloaded.

Compatible with wheel sizes from 16″ to 29″/700c and tires up to 4.5″ wide, it accommodates wheelbases between 32″ and 52″ (813-1321 mm). Installation is secure with a threaded bolt and includes a HitchLock to attach the rack to the vehicle. SKS locks are provided to secure both bikes to the rack and the rack to the vehicle.

Additional features include an integrated locking cable for added bike security and a built-in bottle opener. The rack uses tray-style bike mounts and has a streamlined, compact design to minimize space behind the vehicle and ensure tailgate clearance. The rack weighs 70 lbs.
