Made from engineering-grade polyimide rather than generic packaging film, the tape has a thickness of 100 microns, offering a balance of thinness for a precise fit and strength to meet the demands of modern carbon rims.
It features a high-tack adhesive system optimized for carbon rims, with a thicker adhesive layer that improves compliance to accommodate various rim shapes and internal profiles. This enhances the tape’s ability to conform to subtle surface irregularities, increasing real contact with the rim bed. The result is a consistent and reliable tubeless seal with reduced risk of trapped air.
The tape is transparent, allowing any small air bubbles or creases formed during installation to be visible and easily pushed out. It also removes cleanly without leaving residue. The tape is 10 meters long and 23 millimeters wide.
