The Chris King Boost Rear Hub is a precision mountain bike component designed for the 12 x 148mm Boost axle standard. It features a one-piece solid axle for increased stiffness, enhancing suspension performance and power transfer. The hub includes heavy-duty bearing seals and a threaded driveshell seal ring to protect against mud, water, and contaminants on rough trails. Its canted flanges support stronger wheel builds. The patented RingDrive system provides 72 points of engagement for reliable hub performance. Service is straightforward using a T10 Torx and a pick or pen knife. This rear hub has a 32-hole drilling pattern, uses sealed cartridge bearings, and a 6-bolt disc brake interface. It is compatible with SRAM XD cassette bodies. The hub is finished in Matte Jade and does not include a skewer. Engineered, manufactured, and assembled in Portland, Oregon, it comes with the King Lifetime Warranty.
