Description
The Chromag BA30 V2 is a 29-inch, 32-hole rim designed for high-impact riding on rough and rugged trails. It features a taller profile than the previous version, enhancing strength against flat spots without increasing weight. The rim has a heavy-duty bead wall and a wide profile, making it tough, impact resistant, and rigid for reliable tracking under pressure. Made from premium extruded aluminum alloy, it balances compliance and durability. The rim’s seam is joined using a fusion weld process, creating a joint stronger than any other part of the rim. Its surface is ground for a smooth, consistent finish. The bead wall is approximately twice as wide as most competitors, increasing durability, and the outside edge has an extra-large radius to reduce sidewall cuts from impacts. The rim bed is angled to match spoke direction, reducing spoke bend at the nipple and thread ends. It is tubeless ready and designed for disc brakes. The rim width is 30mm with a wheel depth of 19mm, and it comes in silver. The effective rim diameter (ERD) is 600mm.
