Description
The Continental Aero 111 Tire is a 700 x 29 tubeless-ready folding road tire designed for high aerodynamic performance. Developed with DT Swiss and Swiss Side, it features a tread optimized with 48 precision-formed vortex-generating cavities that reduce aerodynamic drag and improve stability in crosswinds.
This tire uses Continental’s Black Chili Compound to provide excellent grip while minimizing rolling resistance. It also includes a Vectran Breaker made from a liquid crystal-polymer yarn, which offers lightweight, flexible, and highly effective puncture protection without compromising rolling resistance.
The Aero 111’s design allows for lower tire pressures, enhancing comfort and further puncture resistance. It has flat protection on both tread and sidewall, a thread-per-inch (TPI) count of 440, and a maximum recommended pressure of 101 PSI. The tire is black in color, weighs 280 grams, and fits a 700c (ISO 622) rim with a 29 mm width.
