Description
The Continental Race King Tire is a 29 x 2.20-inch tubeless-ready mountain bike tire designed for racing and high-performance use. It features a folding bead and weighs 740 grams. The tire uses Continental’s ShieldWall System, which combines a finely woven cross fabric layer to provide strong puncture protection across the tread and sidewall while maintaining flexibility and low rolling resistance. The PureGrip compound, made with activated silica, delivers reliable grip and durability. This tire is also rated E25 for e-bike use, offering reinforced structure and puncture protection to handle the extra forces from electric assist. With a tread designed for fast rolling and widely spaced knobs, it performs well in a variety of conditions. The tire has a 330 TPI casing, runs at up to 58 PSI, and comes in black with an ISO width of 55 mm and diameter of 622 mm (29″).
