Description
The Continental Terra Competition Tire is designed for gravel and cyclocross riding on multiple surfaces. It measures 700 x 40 mm with a 622 mm (700c) diameter and features a folding bead. This tubeless-ready tire offers improved aerodynamics, reduced weight, and lower rolling resistance for faster climbs and sharper acceleration.
Equipped with Continental’s Grip Compound, it provides a balance of grip and rolling efficiency, suitable for cross-country, down-country, trail, and gravel use. The Trail Casing includes a durable single-ply carcass built for off-road trails, while flat protection is applied to both the tread and sidewall.
Rated E25 for e-bike compatibility, it has a reinforced structure with puncture protection to withstand the additional forces from e-bike use. The tire is hookless compatible and can be run at lower pressures to increase comfort and prevent punctures. It has a TPI of 330 and a maximum pressure of 72 PSI.
