The Continental Terra Speed tire is designed for off-road use, providing comfort and durability on both rough and smooth terrain. It features an all-around ProTection layer that covers the tread and sidewalls, making the tire highly resistant to punctures and damage. This layer is 25% lighter and offers 30% more puncture protection compared to previous models with DuraSkin protection.
The tire uses Continental’s Black Chili Compound, combining synthetic and natural rubbers for improved rolling efficiency and grip. It has an E25 e-bike rating, ensuring it withstands the additional wear caused by e-bike motors.
With a folding bead and tubeless-ready design, the Terra Speed measures 700 x 40c (28 x 1.50 inches) with an ISO width of 40 mm and diameter of 622 mm. It is suitable for gravel and cyclocross riding and is rated to a maximum pressure of 72 PSI. The tire weighs 465 grams and comes in a black and cream color scheme.
