The Continental Terra Trail Tire (700 x 40) is designed for both rough and smooth terrain, offering a balance of comfort and grip for off-road riding and long tours. This tubeless, folding tire features a Black/Cream color combination and uses Continental’s BlackChili compound to enhance rolling efficiency and traction.
With a 330 TPI casing and an all-around ProTection layer covering both tread and sidewall, the tire provides durable puncture resistance that is 30% better than previous models with DuraSkin, while also being 25% lighter. The tread includes increased outer knobs for improved traction on loose surfaces and in corners.
Approved for e-bike use with an E25 rating, the tire’s structure withstands the additional driving force without premature wear. It maintains a maximum pressure of 72 PSI and is suitable for gravel and cyclocross riding. The tire measures 700c (ISO 622 diameter) with a width of 40 mm, and is tubeless ready with a folding bead construction.
