Description
The Continental TPU Tube – 650 x 40 – 60 / 27.5 x 1.6 – 2.4 features a seven-layer construction made from micrometer-thick thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for enhanced airtightness and durability. The tube is uncolored to maintain material quality and prevent air retention issues caused by surface imperfections. It is designed for road, gravel, and mountain bike riders focused on performance and space-saving solutions.
The tube includes a slightly conical valve base to improve fit and reduce movement within the wheel rim. It uses a long 60mm Presta valve with an internally threaded core, allowing for valve extensions or replacement cores. This tube is lightweight and durable, offering low rolling resistance, and is intended for use with disc brakes only. A repair kit is included for easy fixes.
Compatible tire size range is 27.5 x 1.6 to 2.4 inches (650 x 40 – 60 mm), with an ISO diameter of 584 mm (650b / 27.5″). The valve shaft is smooth, and the removable valve core allows for adaptability.
