Description
The Continental TPU Tube is designed for road, gravel, and mountain bikes with 700c or 29″ wheels. Made from seven sealed layers of high-grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPU), it offers excellent airtightness and durability. The tube is uncolored to maintain material quality and avoid air retention issues linked to dye imperfections.
It features a smooth shaft with a slightly conical valve base for a secure fit and reduced movement in the rim. The valve is a long (75mm or more) Presta type with a removable core, allowing for valve extensions or replacement cores. This tube is lightweight and compact, with low rolling resistance, making it suitable for performance-focused riders. It is designed for use with disc brakes only and comes with a repair kit for easy fixes.
Sizes compatible with this tube range from 700 x 25 to 700 x 35 and 29 x 1.0 to 1.4 inches, fitting ISO diameters of 622 mm. The valve length ranges from 56 to 74 mm, and the tube weighs 35 grams.
