The DT Swiss 240 DEG Rear Hub features size-optimized 90-tooth ratchets for fast engagement and reliable performance. It uses DT’s ratchet system, where all teeth on each side engage simultaneously, minimizing point loads and enhancing durability. The hub includes a 6-bolt disc brake interface and sealed steel cartridge bearings. Refined end caps make disassembly easier.
This model incorporates DEG DF (Degrees of Freedom) technology, offering an adjustable pedal kickback system with three settings: 0 , 10 , and 20 . This tool-free adjustment allows you to fine-tune the hub’s performance to suit different terrains or riding styles while keeping maintenance low and weight minimal.
Designed for rear wheels with a 12 x 148mm thru axle, the hub is compatible with Shimano Micro Spline cassettes and features 28 J-bend spoke holes. It is approved for e-bike use up to 32 km/h or 250 W. The hub is finished in black and red and weighs 278 grams.
