Description
The DT Swiss 240 DEG Rear Hub features a 12 x 148mm thru axle and is designed for rear wheels with 28 J-Bend spoke holes. It uses a 6-bolt disc brake mount and a SRAM XD cassette body. The hub includes size-optimized 90-tooth ratchets for fast engagement and reliable performance, with all teeth engaging simultaneously to reduce point loads.
This model incorporates DT Swiss’ Degrees of Freedom (DEG DF) technology, allowing easy adjustment of the pedal kickback system between 0 , 10 , and 20 settings without tools. This low-maintenance system helps tailor riding characteristics to different terrain or bike setups.
The hub uses sealed steel cartridge bearings and refined end caps that simplify disassembly. It is approved for e-bike use, supporting up to 32 km/h or 250 W. The hub weighs 267 grams and comes in a black and red color scheme. Skewer is not included.
