Description
The DT Swiss EX 1700 Classic 30 Rear Wheel is a 29-inch tubeless-ready wheel designed for rear use with a 12 x 148mm thru axle. It features an asymmetrical aluminum rim with a welded joint for increased strength and even spoke tension. The rim has a 30mm internal width and comes pre-installed with 32mm tubeless tape and a black alloy tubeless valve (18-25mm).
The wheel is built with 32 hand-laced DT competition race spokes, featuring a thin middle section for stiffness and durability, secured by flat hex aluminum nipples to protect the tubeless tape. It is equipped with the reliable DT Swiss 350 hub featuring Center-Lock disc brake compatibility and Shimano Micro Spline 12-speed cassette body. The hub uses the Ratchet DEG DF system with 72 points of engagement and a tunable anti-pedal kickback system to improve pedaling efficiency.
