Description
The DT Swiss EX 1700 Classic 30 Rear Wheel is a 29-inch wheel designed for demanding trail and enduro riding. It features a 30mm internal width asymmetric aluminum rim with a welded joint for strength and even spoke tension. The rim is tubeless ready, with 32mm tubeless tape pre-installed and includes a black alloy Presta valve (18-25mm).
Built with 32 DT competition race spokes that have a thin middle section for stiffness and durability, each spoke is hand-laced using flat hex aluminum nipples to protect the tubeless tape and enhance wheel durability. The hub is a reliable DT Swiss 350 Classic Ratchet DEG DF model featuring a 72-point driver engagement and a tunable anti-pedal kickback system to maximize pedal efficiency. It is tool-free to adjust, requires low maintenance, and adds no extra weight.
This rear wheel uses a 12 x 157mm thru-axle and is compatible with SRAM XD cassette bodies. It supports 6-bolt disc brakes and is suitable for e-bike use. The wheel weighs 1134 grams and has a rim depth of 22mm. The black finish completes the design for a durable, high-performance rear wheel ready for rough trail use.
