Description
The DT Swiss EXC 1500 Classic 30 Rear Wheel is a 27.5″ tubeless-ready wheel designed for e-bikes. It features an asymmetric, hookless carbon fiber rim with a 30mm internal width and 22mm depth. The wheel uses a Classic 240-series 6-bolt disc hub equipped with a 90-tooth Ratchet DEG system and Degrees of Freedom technology, offering an adjustable on/off pedal kickback system with 0 , 10 , and 20 settings to enhance pedaling efficiency.
This rear wheel comes with a SRAM XD freehub body installed and also includes a Shimano HG+ Micro Spline 12-speed freehub body and end cap, allowing compatibility with both cassette types. It is built with 32 DT Swiss Complite J-bend double-butted spokes and alloy ProLock Squorx nipples for durability. The wheel is finished in black and includes factory-installed tubeless tape and an 18-25mm black alloy tubeless Presta valve.
The pure carbon rim construction reduces rotational mass for faster acceleration and improved airtime, while continuous carbon layers provide high impact resistance for durability on rough terrain. The 12 x 148mm thru-axle ensures secure fitment. This wheel is designed specifically for rear use and is compatible with 6-bolt disc brakes.
