The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Hybrid Anti-pedal Kickback System Upgrade Kit (60t) includes a tool for installation. This kit uses Degrees of Freedom (DEG DF) technology, designed to reduce pedal kickback by allowing the freehub to rotate slightly before engaging. It is compatible with all Ratchet DEG DF Hybrid freehub systems and replaces the hub’s threaded ring and ratchets.
The upgrade offers two freehub movement settings-0 and 10 -providing adjustable tuning to reduce the effect of chain tension on rear suspension. This helps the suspension operate more freely and can be adjusted without tools. The system adds no extra weight, requires no additional parts, and needs no more maintenance than a standard Ratchet system.
