The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Upgrade Kit offers 0 or 14 engagement options with 54 teeth. It simplifies the anti-pedal kickback system by replacing the hub’s threaded ring and two ratchets, making it compatible with all Ratchet DEG freehub systems. This lightweight upgrade reduces the effect of the chain on the rear suspension by allowing controlled freehub rotation before engagement, helping the suspension work more freely. The system is easily adjustable without tools, requires no extra maintenance beyond a classic Ratchet system, and allows you to fine-tune your bike’s performance for different terrains or riding styles. Upgrade kits come with or without an installation tool.
