Description
The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Anti-pedal Kickback System Upgrade Kit offers a simplified and lightweight solution to reduce pedal kickback. It retrofits to all Ratchet DEG freehub systems by replacing the hub’s threaded ring and two ratchets. This upgrade allows you to choose from three different degrees of freehub movement: 0 , 10 , and 20 .
The adjustable system reduces the chain’s influence on the rear suspension by letting the freehub rotate within a specified range before engaging, which helps the suspension work more freely. It adds no extra weight, requires minimal maintenance, and does not need any additional parts beyond the kit. The setup can be changed easily without tools, allowing you to fine-tune your bike’s performance for different terrains or optimize kinematics.
Compatible with all Ratchet DEG equipped hubs, the kit uses 90-tooth engagements and is available with or without an installation tool.
