Description
The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Anti-pedal Kickback System Upgrade Kit features Degrees of Freedom (DF) technology designed to reduce anti-pedal kickback. This upgrade is compatible with all Ratchet DEG freehub systems and is lighter than other solutions. It replaces the hub’s threaded ring and two ratchets to provide three adjustable freehub movement options: 0 , 10 , and 20 . This allows you to tune your bike’s riding characteristics by letting the freehub rotate within a specific range before engagement, reducing the chain’s influence on the rear suspension and enabling freer suspension movement. The system requires no additional parts, needs no more maintenance than a classic Ratchet system, and can be adjusted without tools. The kit includes a 90-tooth engagement and comes with the installation tool.
