Description
The Enduro BRT-040 Bottom Bracket and Hub Bearing Removal/Installation Tool Kit is designed to be used with the BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses (sold separately). This kit enhances these bearing presses by enabling the careful removal and installation of bottom bracket (BB) and hub bearings. It works by using the nut and threaded rod from the bearing press to press bearings gently out of or into components.
The BRT-040 kit includes cups, guides, and pullers needed for removing and installing all sizes of BB and hub bearings when used with the compatible bearing presses. It is suitable for bearings such as stainless steel and XD15, which can be removed and cleaned repeatedly if they become rough or gritty from dirt. The hub bearing receiver cups are designed for hubs with axle stops.
The tool kit features parts that are cross-compatible with the BRT-003 24mm BB press tool and overlap with the functionality of the BRT-002 30mm bearing tool. The kit is colored yellow and black.
