The ENVE Composites G SES 4.5 Rear Wheel is designed for versatile gravel riding and racing. It features a 700c full carbon rim with a 30mm internal width and a 55mm rim depth, offering a balance of responsiveness, stability, and speed across varied terrain. The rim’s hookless bead design improves tubeless tire performance and reduces the risk of pinch flats by distributing impact energy across a wider surface area.
This rear wheel uses a 12 x 142mm thru-axle and is compatible with SRAM XDR cassettes. It includes a Premium Innerdrive hub with oversized 42mm steel ratchets positioned inboard to reduce stress on the axle and bearings, ensuring reliable engagement. The hub also has interchangeable ratchets (sold separately) to customize ride feel. The straight pull hub design features equal-length, anti-twist spokes, a lightweight alloy hub shell, sealed stainless steel bearings, and an easy-to-service axle system.
The wheel comes tubeless ready with a Presta valve, 24 spokes, and a Center-Lock disc brake interface. It weighs 840 grams and is finished in black and white.
