Description
The Full Speed Ahead KFX i28 Rear Wheel is a 29-inch wheel designed with a 12 x 148mm thru-axle and features a carbon asymmetric rim with a 28mm internal width. The rim has a variable height profile and is tubeless compatible with a hookless bead design. It measures 33mm in width and 22-24mm in variable depth.
The wheel includes a PRS alloy hub with direct pull spokes, sealed cartridge bearings, and uses a 7-sealed cartridge bearing system (2 front, 5 rear). Spokes are 2-cross double butted with brass nipples. The freehub is a PRS alloy hub with a 72-tooth ratchet system, compatible with Shimano Micro Spline and XD cassettes. It has an ISO 6-bolt rotor mount for disc brakes.
The wheel comes with TA 12mm front and rear end caps, uses a Presta valve, and weighs 1,566 grams per pair. The wheel is hand-built in-house for precision and durability and is finished in black. It is tubeless ready and suitable for 29″ road or mountain bike use.
