Description
The Hope Pro 5 Rear Hub features over 30 years of Hope’s hub manufacturing expertise. It offers improved sealing to prevent dirt entry and reduce drag, with Labyrinth seals that provide smooth freewheeling. The hub uses wire-cut pawls made from high-strength steel, designed for durability, increased load capacity, and lower drag. The shell is machined from forged 2014 T6 aluminum billet, shaped to enhance stiffness without adding weight. Engagement is increased to 108 points with a new offset 6-pawl freehub design. This hub is fully serviceable and rebuildable using simple tools. End spacers are available separately to fit various frame and axle standards. It has a 12 x 148mm axle spacing, 6-bolt disc brake compatibility, Shimano Micro Spline cassette body, 28 spoke holes, and is finished in black. The flange diameter measures 57mm on the left and 59mm on the right, with center-to-flange distances of 35mm (left) and 22.6mm (right). It uses cartridge bearings for smooth operation.
