Description
The Hope Pro 5 Rear Hub is designed to meet the demands of modern bike technology, drawing on over 30 years of Hope’s hub manufacturing expertise. It features improved sealing to prevent dirt ingress and reduce drag, with Labyrinth seals that offer zero drag for smooth freewheeling. The hub uses wire-cut pawls made from high-strength steel to enhance durability, load capacity, and reduce drag. The shell is machined from forged 2014 T6 aluminum billet, providing increased stiffness without adding weight. It offers 108 points of engagement with a new offset 6-pawl freehub design. The hub is fully serviceable and rebuildable using simple tools. End spacers (sold separately) allow compatibility with different frame and axle standards.
