Description
The Hope Pro5 Disc R T-A XDR Hub is a rear hub designed for 12x142mm axle spacing with 32 spoke holes. It features a silver finish and a J-bend spoke design. Compared to the previous Pro4 model, the Pro5 introduces a zero drag labyrinth seal and an upgraded ratchet and pawl system with new springs, which reduce drag and improve durability and load capacity. The hub uses an offset 6-pawl freehub design, engaging three pawls at once, with an increased point of engagement (POE) of 108, providing a balance of quick engagement, durability, and minimal drag. This results in a responsive feel on the trail and smooth crank movement without compromising reliability. It has a 6-bolt, 44mm BCD International Standard disc mounting interface. The hub is compatible with Shimano HG 8-11 speed cassettes but is not compatible with 11-speed road HG cassettes. The hub weighs 313 grams.
