The KMC X-Flat Waxed Chain is designed for SRAM 12- and 13-speed AXS and Transmission/T-Type drivetrains. It features a flat-top profile that allows for a narrower chain while maintaining high strength and durability. The chain comes pre-treated with KMC’s GO CHAIN WAX formula, offering improved efficiency and durability by reducing dirt build-up and minimizing cleaning needs compared to oil-based lubricants.
This chain includes a Titanium Nitride coating for enhanced hardness, corrosion resistance, and a smooth surface. Its Double X Bridge construction improves shifting precision and speed, while the specially chamfered ramps on inner and outer links enable quick and smooth engagement with chainrings and cassettes.
The chain has 126 links and uses a single-use master link for connection. It is available in a Ti Gold and Black color combination and weighs 253 grams. This chain is not compatible with other 12- or 13-speed systems or older SRAM groups.
