Koski All Stop’s cartridge systems allow you to easily slide out and replace the rubber inserts without having to realign the entire metal shoe
Dual Compound: An all-weather combination (black for normal, salmon for wet).
- The Design: It features a rigid, aerodynamic aluminum alloy cartridge housing that permanently bolts to the brake caliper arms.
- The Concept: Instead of replacing the entire brake shoe when the rubber wears down, you simply slide out the old rubber insert and slide in a new one, keeping your brake alignment perfectly intact.
- Compatibility: It was engineered primarily for vintage cantilever, linear-pull (V-brake), and early mountain bike rim brake systems. The original cartridge architecture heavily influenced modern Kool-Stop styles
