Description
Maurten Gel Mix 480 is a powder-based hydrogel fuel built for long-distance and long-duration efforts. Mixed with 200 ml of water, it creates a flask-friendly consistency that is thicker than Drink Mix and looser than Gel, giving athletes an efficient way to carry 120 grams of carbohydrates in one soft flask.
Gel Mix 480 uses Maurten Hydrogel Technology. Like Maurten Drink Mix, it is pH-sensitive and forms a hydrogel in the acidity of the stomach, helping encapsulate carbohydrates and transport them through the stomach to be absorbed and used as fuel.
Designed to be prepared before use, Gel Mix 480 can be consumed across one long effort or split into two 60 gram carbohydrate servings. It is compatible with Maurten Additions in Cola, Orange, Apple, and Menthol for athletes looking to adjust taste during long training blocks, races, or big days on the bike.
