Description
The Mavic Cosmic SL 40 is a 700c front wheel designed for rim brake use, featuring a 40mm deep carbon rim with a 19mm internal width. It uses Mavic’s Infinity hub platform with Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology for efficient power transfer and easy maintenance. The wheel includes stainless steel bladed spokes with steel nipples and comes with rim tape pre-mounted, a UST valve (not mounted), a quick release, and carbon brake pads.
This tubeless-compatible wheel is made with unidirectional carbon fiber and traditional drilling, allowing use with tubes or tubeless setups when combined with tubeless tape. It has 18 spokes and a quick release axle spacing of 9x100mm. The QRM bearings in the hub automatically adjust preload for a smooth spin and are double sealed to resist contamination. The wheel is black in color and designed and manufactured in Europe.
