Description
The Mavic Ksyrium SL 700C rear wheel features a 622x19mm rim designed for tubeless compatibility. It is built with 24 double-butted elliptical-shaped Mavic Aero spokes for reduced weight and improved responsiveness. The rim uses Mavic’s patented ISM4D technology, which removes excess material to enhance stiffness while maintaining durability where spoke tension is highest. The Fore technology creates a solid rim bed that increases stiffness and eliminates the need for rim tape, saving an additional 30 grams per wheel.
This wheel is equipped with the Mavic Infinity hub platform, which includes a stiff axle, durable bearings, and a new hub design to ensure stability. The improved UST Road design reduces friction, enhances efficiency and grip, and lowers puncture risk. A new rim bed shape also makes tire mounting and changing easier.
