The DHR II features side knobs adapted from the Minion DHF but widened for extra cornering support. Its center tread has ramped leading edges for better acceleration and sipes that ensure smooth bike leaning. Paddle-like knobs in the center provide strong traction during hard braking to maintain control. The dual compound rubber reduces rolling resistance while enhancing corner grip. It is recommended for all trail conditions and intended for rear installation. This tire includes flat protection on the tread and sidewall, has a 60 TPI casing, weighs 695 grams, and is designed for use with e-bikes. It measures 24 inches in diameter and 2.3 inches wide, with a folding bead and a maximum pressure of 65 PSI.
2. Maxxis Minion DHF Tire – 24 x 2.4, Folding Clincher, Dual Compound, Black
The Minion DHF balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction. It features directional ramped center knobs for low rolling resistance and the trademark channel cut side knobs for excellent cornering grip. Suitable for all trail conditions, it is intended for front installation across trail, enduro, and downhill riding. This tire has a 60 TPI casing, weighs 743 grams, is 24 inches in diameter, 2.4 inches wide, and includes a folding bead. Maximum inflation pressure is 65 PSI. It is not designed for e-bike use.
