Description
This bundle includes two high-performance mountain bike tires designed for aggressive trail riding and downhill use:
1. Maxxis Minion DHR II Tire Tubeless Folding Black/Dark Tan Dual EXO WT 27.5 x 2.4
The Minion DHR II features side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF but widened for enhanced support and cornering. The center tread has ramped leading edges for better acceleration and sipes that allow smooth transitions when leaning. Paddle-shaped center knobs improve traction during braking and control. It uses dual compound rubber for low rolling resistance and increased cornering grip. The EXO casing protects the sidewalls from cuts and abrasions while remaining lightweight and flexible. Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and profile for modern wider rims with a 35mm inner width. This tubeless-ready folding tire weighs approximately 934-949 grams and has a tread and sidewall flat protection. It is recommended for trail, enduro, and downhill use as a rear tire. The tire size is 27.5″ x 2.4″ (584 ISO diameter, 61 mm width).
2. Maxxis Minion DHF Tire 27.5 x 2.5 Tubeless Folding Dual EXO Wide Trail
The Minion DHF offers a versatile tread design balancing rolling speed with braking and cornering traction. Directional ramped center knobs reduce rolling resistance while Minion’s signature channel cut side knobs enhance cornering traction. It is intended for all trail conditions and suitable for front installation in trail, enduro, and downhill riding. This tubeless-ready folding tire has sidewall flat protection, weighs around 980 grams, and features EXO and Wide Trail technologies. The tire measures 27.5″ x 2.5″ (584 ISO diameter, 64 mm width) and is designed for aggressive mountain biking.
