Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Assegai mountain bike tires, each sized 27.5″ x 2.60″. These folding, tubeless-ready clincher tires are designed primarily for downhill racing and aggressive trail riding in mixed conditions. The tread features a knob height between the Minion DHR II and the Shorty, with heavily ramped center knobs to reduce rolling resistance and a small knob between the center and side knobs for smooth cornering transitions. The tires provide predictable traction on slippery roots and rocks.
Constructed with MaxxTerra triple compound, these tires balance durability and grip while maintaining good tread wear and rolling resistance. The EXO casing offers lightweight, flexible sidewall protection against cuts and abrasions. Originally developed with input from World Cup Champion Greg Minnaar, these tires are recommended for front installation on trail, enduro, and downhill mountain bikes.
