Description
The Maxxis Assegai is a 29″x2.60 folding mountain tire designed for downhill, enduro, and aggressive trail riding in mixed conditions. It features a tread pattern with knob height between the Minion DHR II and Shorty, with heavily ramped center knobs to reduce rolling resistance and a small knob between the center and side knobs for smooth cornering. The tire uses the 3C MaxxTerra triple compound, offering a balance of grip, tread wear, and rolling efficiency. Its EXO casing provides lightweight, flexible protection against sidewall cuts and abrasions. The Assegai is tubeless ready, has a 60 TPI casing, and weighs 1201 grams. This model is intended for front installation and comes in black.
