Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Dissector II mountain bike tires, each sized 27.5″x2.40. They feature folding beads and are tubeless ready. The tires use MaxxTerra compound and incorporate EXO technology for added protection. Designed in black, they have a tire width range of 2.30 to 2.60.
The Dissector II tires have redesigned side knobs with a larger footprint and reworked sipes to improve grip and control. The new shape resists deflection under load, enhancing durability and handling. The center tread maintains a 2-3-2 knob layout, where the center “3” is split into individual knobs for better braking traction. Transition knobs are positioned outward for a smoother feel when leaning the bike.
These tires are suitable for use as front, rear, or paired tires on trail bikes depending on conditions. For longer travel bikes (150mm or more), the Dissector II is ideal as a fast rear tire in dry conditions. They perform best on dry, hardpack, rocky, and rooty terrain.
