Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Dissector II mountain bike tires, each sized 27.5″x2.40. These folding tires feature MaxxTerra rubber compound and Double Down casing technology. They are tubeless ready and come in black.
The Dissector II tires have redesigned side knobs with a larger footprint and improved sipes for enhanced durability and control. Their new shape resists deflection under load. The center tread uses a 2-3-2 layout, with the central “3” split into individual knobs to improve braking traction. Transition knobs are positioned outward to provide a smoother lean-over feel.
These tires are suitable for various uses: on trail bikes, they can be installed on the front, rear, or both, depending on trail conditions. For longer travel bikes (150mm+), they serve as a fast rear tire designed for dry conditions. The Dissector II is ideal for dry, hardpack, rocky, and rooty terrain.
Tire width ranges from 2.30 to 2.60 inches, with a labeled size of 27.5″x2.40 and diameter of 27.5″ (584 mm).
