Description
The Maxxis Dissector II Mountain Tire measures 27.5″x2.40 and features a folding bead design. It uses MaxxTerra rubber compound and includes EXO+ sidewall protection. This tubeless-ready tire has redesigned side knobs with a larger footprint and reworked sipes, improving durability and control by resisting deflection under load. The center tread maintains a 2-3-2 layout with the middle “3” split into individual knobs for enhanced braking traction. Outward-positioned transition knobs provide a smoother lean transition. Suitable for front or rear use depending on conditions, the Dissector II performs well as a fast rear tire on longer travel bikes (150mm+) in dry, hardpack, rocky, and rooty terrain. The tire width range is 2.30 to 2.60 inches. The color is black.
