Description
The Maxxis Dissector II is a 29″ x 2.40 mountain bike tire designed for dry, hard, rocky terrain. It features a folding bead and is tubeless ready. The tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound formulated for durability and grip, combined with EXO+ casing for medium-duty puncture protection on the tread and sidewall. Its redesigned side knobs provide a larger contact area for improved grip and stability, while split center knobs enhance braking and terrain conformity. Transition knobs are positioned outward to allow smoother cornering. With a 60 TPI casing and a weight of 1045g, this tire works well as a front tire on 130-140mm travel trail bikes or as a fast rear tire on bikes with 150mm or more suspension. It is compatible with light weight e-bikes (E50 rating) and pairs well with Maxxis Forekaster or Rekon tires for a balanced ride. The tire color is black.
