Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Forekaster mountain tires, each sized 27.5″ x 2.40″. These folding, tubeless-ready tires feature a MaxxTerra triple compound casing for increased durability while maintaining grip. The EXO+ casing provides medium-duty puncture protection on the tread and sidewall, suitable for all-around trail riding and lightweight e-bikes.
Designed as an aggressive cross-country trail tire, the Forekaster offers excellent traction in loose, medium, muddy, and wet conditions. Its redesigned tread includes taller side knobs for improved cornering grip and a more densely packed tread pattern for better rolling efficiency. Widely spaced knobs shed mud quickly, while siped knobs conform to terrain for secure cornering.
The tires have a 60 TPI casing and weigh approximately 936 grams each. They are rated E25/E50 to handle the forces and weight of e-bikes, with a recommended maximum pressure of 50 PSI. The tires come in black and are optimized for modern short travel trail bikes, fitting between typical cross-country and gravity tire options.
