Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Forekaster mountain tires, each sized 29″ x 2.60″. These folding, tubeless-ready tires are designed for modern short-travel trail bikes, commonly referred to as “downcountry” bikes with 100mm-130mm suspension travel. The Forekaster offers a balanced performance, rolling quickly while providing reliable traction for cornering and braking across various trail conditions.
The tires feature MaxxTerra, an updated triple compound that enhances durability without sacrificing grip, tread wear, or rolling resistance. They have EXO casing on the sidewalls for strong protection against cuts and abrasions while keeping the weight low and flexibility high. The aggressive tread pattern includes widely spaced knobs to shed mud efficiently and siped knobs for better terrain conformity and secure cornering.
These tires are intended for use in loose, medium, muddy, and wet conditions. Specifications include a 60 TPI casing, black color, and a folding bead. They measure 29″ in diameter with a width of 2.60″, and are tubeless-ready clinchers compatible with standard 29″ rims. Flat protection covers both the tread and sidewalls. Reflective sidewalls are not included.
