Description
The Maxxis Forekaster Mountain Tire is a 27.5″ x 2.40 folding tire designed for tubeless setups (sealant required). It features a mid-height tread pattern with evenly spaced blocks that provide good traction on loose trails while allowing mud to clear effectively. The wide cupped knobs in the center offer reliable braking performance in various conditions.
This tire uses Maxxis’ 3C MaxxTerra compound, which balances softness for traction with durability and lower rolling resistance. It includes EXO+ protection, combining EXO sidewall reinforcement with a butyl bead insert to reduce the risk of pinch flats and damage to the rim. With a 60 TPI construction and a tubeless-ready design, the Forekaster is built for performance on a range of trail surfaces. The tire is black, has a folding bead, and fits ISO 584 rims.
