Description
The Maxxis Forekaster Mountain Tire is designed for 29″ trail bikes with short travel suspension (100mm-130mm), often called the “downcountry” segment. It features a 2.60″ width and a folding bead. This tubeless-ready tire provides a balance of fast rolling performance and reliable cornering and braking traction across various trail conditions, including loose, medium, muddy, and wet terrain.
The tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound for increased durability without sacrificing grip, tread wear, or rolling resistance. Its EXO casing protects the sidewalls against cuts and abrasions while remaining lightweight and flexible. The tread features widely spaced knobs for traction and quick mud shedding, along with siped knobs that enhance grip for secure cornering.
