Description
The Maxxis High Roller III is a 27.5″ x 2.40 mountain tire designed for tubeless-ready clincher setups with a folding bead. It features an all-new hybrid tread with mid-spike center knobs that provide good soil penetration in soft, loose, or dusty conditions while maintaining stability on hard surfaces. Large, well-supported side knobs enhance cornering traction for predictable handling.
Made with 3C Maxx Grip compound, this tire uses Maxxis’ stickiest and slowest rebounding rubber for increased traction on the trail. The new DH casing offers improved puncture protection and durability, as well as better compliance over rough terrain, supporting high cornering loads and impacts. This casing allows for lower tire pressures compared to previous designs, resulting in a more planted and damped feel.
The High Roller III is recommended for intermediate enduro and downhill riding, especially in soft or loose conditions where mud spikes are not needed. Its widely spaced tread helps clear debris better than the Maxxis Assegai and performs better in drier conditions compared to the Shorty. The tire is suitable for both front and rear use and is e-bike compatible (E25).
