Description
The Maxxis High Roller III is a 29″x2.40 folding mountain tire designed for tubeless use. Featuring a new hybrid tread pattern, the center knobs offer strong soil penetration in soft, loose, or dusty conditions while remaining stable on hard surfaces. Large, supported side knobs improve cornering traction for predictable handling. The tire uses the 3C MaxxGrip compound, Maxxis’ stickiest rubber, to deliver excellent trail traction.
Equipped with a new DH casing, it provides enhanced puncture protection, durability, and better compliance over rough terrain. This casing allows lower tire pressures by 2-3 psi compared to previous versions, resulting in slower rebound and a more controlled ride. The tire is suitable for intermediate enduro and downhill riding, and it works well on soft or loose terrain where mud spikes aren’t needed.
With a 120 TPI casing and flat protection on both tread and sidewall, the tire offers durability and resilience. It is tubeless ready and can be used on the front or rear of the bike. The High Roller III is also designed to be compatible with e-bikes (E25). Its widely spaced tread helps clear debris better than the Maxxis Assegai and performs well in drier conditions compared to the Shorty.
