Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Hookworm tires, each sized 20 x 1.95 inches. These clincher tires feature a wire bead and come in black. Designed as original urban assault tires, they have a grooved slick, wrap-around tread pattern made from a single compound optimized for durability and performance.
The tires have a single-ply casing with one layer of nylon wrapped bead-to-bead, providing good terrain conformity while keeping weight lower than other casing types. The knurled tread with siping offers reliable traction for braking and cornering. The bead-to-bead tread enhances durability and grip during turns.
These tires are intended for BMX use on flat terrain, parks, streets, and vert ramps. They have a 60 TPI casing, a recommended pressure of up to 110 PSI, and are non-tubeless. Use of sealants will void the warranty.
Each tire weighs approximately 720 grams and measures 50 mm (1.95 inches) in width, fitting 20-inch BMX rims with an ISO diameter of 406 mm. The tires have a durometer of 70a and a standard, non-folding wire bead. Reflective sidewalls are not included.
