Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Hookworm tires, each sized 27.5 x 2.5 inches. These clincher tires feature a single-ply nylon casing wrapped bead-to-bead, offering a lightweight design that conforms well to terrain. Designed specifically for BMX use in urban settings such as parks and streets, the tread covers the full tire surface to maximize contact. U-shaped channels enhance cornering traction, while tread protection extends rim-to-rim along the sidewalls for added durability.
The tire’s knurled tread with siping provides reliable grip for braking and cornering, and the bead-to-bead tread construction improves both durability and cornering performance. These tires have wire beads and are non-folding. They operate best at a maximum pressure of 65 PSI and are available in black.
Please note that using sealants with these tires will void the warranty. This set is intended for flat, park, street, and vert riding and is not designed for e-bike use.
