The Maxxis Hookworm Tire is a 20 x 1.95-inch clincher designed for BMX use on flat surfaces, parks, streets, and vert ramps. It features a grooved slick, wrap-around tread with a single compound optimized for both durability and performance. Its single-ply casing consists of one layer of nylon wrapped bead-to-bead, providing a balance of lightweight feel and terrain conformity. Knurled tread with siping enhances traction for braking and cornering, while the bead-to-bead tread adds extra durability and grip. This tire has a wire bead, 60 TPI casing, and a recommended pressure of up to 110 PSI. It weighs approximately 720 grams and is black in color. Use of sealants will void the warranty.
