The Maxxis Hookworm Tire is designed for urban, park, and street riding on 27.5-inch wheels with a width of 2.5 inches. It features a clincher, wire bead construction with a single-ply casing made from one layer of nylon wrapped bead-to-bead for a balance of conformity and light weight. The tire has knurled tread with siping and U-shaped channels to provide strong traction for braking, cornering, and durability. Its tread extends from rim to rim with protected sidewalls for added resistance. This tire is intended for BMX use on flat, park, street, and vert surfaces. It is non-tubeless, rated for a maximum pressure of 65 PSI, and weighs approximately 1107 to 1114 grams. Use of sealants will void the warranty. The tire is black in color and features a standard style without reflective sidewalls.
