The Maxxis Hookworm Tire is a 29 x 2.5-inch clincher tire designed for BMX use on flat, park, street, and vert terrains. It features a single-ply casing with one layer of nylon wrapped from bead to bead, providing a lighter weight and good conformity to terrain. The bead-to-bead tread offers added durability and cornering grip, while U-shaped channels on the full tire surface enhance cornering adhesion. The knurled tread pattern with siping improves traction during braking and cornering. The tire has rim-to-rim tread-protected sidewalls and a wire bead. It has a 60 TPI nylon casing, weighs approximately 1185 grams, and operates up to 65 PSI. Use of sealants will void the warranty. This black tire is intended for non-tubeless setups and is not designed for e-bike use.
